Graphite in pencil cause trouble in filtering systems of spacecrafts and ink does not flow in zero gravity. But Ethergraph as tip of Napkin forever pens has no ink and no praphite but still writes as soft as a pencil and as durable as ink. Such chracteristics have attracted astronomers and space experts to use them in space.

In order to use a pen in space, NAPKIN FOREVER with design of PININFARINA have collaborated with ALTEC to develop a new pen called FOREVER PININFARINA SPACE which will be carried to international space station (ISS) by Russian space shuttle Soyuz on 29th July 2017. 

This pen will stay in orbit by end of 2017 and will be used by crew of International Space Station and will be tested in difficult and strange conditions that can only be found in outer space.
